Audio in education has become increasingly important in recent years as technology has advanced and new tools have become available. With audio, learners can listen to educational materials on the go, making it easier to fit learning into their busy schedules. Additionally, audio can be used to create interactive learning experiences that engage students and help them better understand the material. Overall, audio is a valuable tool for educators and learners alike, and it will likely continue to play an important role in education for many years to come.
For this project, I created an audio file that complements the digital document infographic. It offers several ways to represent gamification elements based on the universal design for learning. This makes it easier for students to understand the material, even if they have different learning styles. The audio file is an excellent resource that provides an engaging and interactive way for students to learn about gamification. It ensures that all students have access to the information they need to succeed in their studies. In the audio, I went over the definition of gamification and the elements of gamification. I also gave 9 gamification elements that can be used to gamify learning.
The following Learning Objective was addressed in the video.
At the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify different elements of gamification
I used Audacity to record this week's audio. The learning curve for audacity is very steep. When mastered, it is an excellent free tool that can be used to create amazing audio files. I like that they offer a place to share audio files.
